Our brand new GREATHAMMER bass overdrive is available now through our website and our worldwide retailers.
This is the promised update of our 0xEAE Bass Driver, now in a smaller format with the mid notch switch moved to the outside as a 3-position toggle. If you’re new, this is our take on the infamous TS50B amplifier (Shellac, The Jesus Lizard, etc) reimagined with improved tone controls and gain staging. It delivers a piano-like grind across a huge range of gain. And it sounds pretty good on guitar too.
But don’t take our word for it: check out the technical demo below. We also shot a very fun trailer with our friend J Kimball (and don’t worry, no Brads were injured on set).
I could say more about it but I think that video is pretty comprehensive! As one last note I’d like to thank our pal Ian Miller (Kowloon Walled City, Strangelight, + more) for beta testing this on the road.
Next up, we have a new shirt design available for preorder. If you grew up in the Northeast US, you might recognize the homage to an old favorite guitar shop. I bought some of my first ever guitars and amps at Daddy’s Junky Music! The old Boston location is also the first place that I encountered a Moog MF-104m, which is one of the pedals that set me down the path I’m on today—including founding the Hypertriangle manufacturing collective with Hawker at Asheville Music Tools, who was the original 104m designer! Pretty cool.
Speaking of Hawker, we tabled together at Wood Wire Volts. It was a real blast! Some other highlights:
I got to meet James from Aluminati (the new Telepath model is astoundingly good—you’ll be seeing more of this one)
Saw a transcendentally good performance by Andy Pitcher
Went to the fast and furious house
Hung out in Chris from R2R’s idyllic LA backyard
Bought a Garnet Session Man at Caveman Vintage Music. Been on the prowl for one of those for a minute!
Got stuck for an extra day and hung out with Philippe and Ben from Caroline Guitar Co plus Matthew from Alexander pedals. Great crew.
Very glad to be home now, even if home is covered in 18” of snow.
Thanks all for reading!

PS: if you’re feeling terrible about ICE, friends in the Twin Cities recommended donating to ILCM, Immigrant Defense Network, and COPAL. I’m inspired by the organizational efforts happening over there and hope the rest of the country can follow suit if the time comes.
