I picked up one of these in completely ruined condition from Bay State guitars, a shop in downtown Boston, when they closed down and liquidated remaining inventory. The amp was in extremely poor shape, but after some basic triage I could see it had potential. This document presents the extensive mods I performed to tame the amp’s instability, harsh treble, pronounced mid scoop, and tendency to flub when cranked up. (PDF)
