If a pedal is out of stock, it means the customer wait time got too long and we are catching up. Some parts, like PCBs and enclosures, can have a long lead time and we would rather not pass that onto the customer.
Wait times are currently about 8 weeks. If you've been waiting longer than that, drop us a line. If you haven't been waiting that long, we promise we're working hard! As of now (December 2016) we are no longer offering cancellations on orders prior to shipping. See the return policy.
At this time, only Custom Shop products ship internationally. For our standard products check the Dealers page.
Please note that for direct sales, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost as well as any and all applicable import duties. Pedals are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International, with rates of $40USD to Canada and $50USD everywhere else. I have used cheaper options in the past and was rewarded with lost pedals, >8 week shipping times, and all manner of customs confusion.
Yes, all standard production Electronic Audio Experiments products may be returned within thirty days of arrival to the customer. Use the contact form to initiate the return process. However, you must pay for return shipping and a restocking fee of 10% of full retail cost (we are not a pedal rental service!). The refund will process when the pedal is back in our hands. Barring that, you can resell pedals on a number of websites including reverb.com.
All standard production pedals are warrantied for materials and workmanship for one year after shipping date. This warranty is non-transferable and covers manufacturing defects as well as mechanical or electrical failure of parts during normal use. The warranty does not cover environmental damage (including but not limited to liquids, heavy impacts), use of an incorrect power supply (over-voltage or reverse polarity), or cosmetic damage.
Pedals under warranty will be repaired for no charge. The customer is responsible for shipping to me, but I will pay return shipping. If possible, I will repair non-warranty pedals for the cost of parts, labor ($30/hour bench fee), and return shipping.
Custom shop pedals carry the same warranty, sans an expiration date.
