We are a small company so it takes a long time for us to build new batches. We're getting there!
We do our best to ship new orders within one week. If it has been longer than that, drop us a line.
Yes pedals are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International, with rates of $25USD to Canada and $35USD everywhere else. I have used cheaper options in the past and was rewarded with lost pedals, >8 week shipping times, and all manner of customs confusion. If you would like less expensive shipping, check our dealer list for more information. Please note that all international customers are responsible for applicable import duties. These are out of our control.
Yes, all standard production Electronic Audio Experiments products may be returned within thirty days of arrival to the customer. Use the contact form to initiate the return process. However, you must pay for return shipping and a restocking fee of 10% of full retail cost (we are not a pedal rental service!). The refund will process when the pedal is back in our hands. Barring that, you can resell pedals on a number of websites such as reverb.com or various facebook groups.
All standard production pedals are warrantied for materials and workmanship for one year after the shipping date. This warranty is non-transferable and covers manufacturing defects as well as mechanical or electrical failure of parts during normal use. The warranty does not cover environmental damage (including but not limited to liquids, heavy impacts), use of an incorrect power supply (over-voltage or reverse polarity), misuse or abuse by the user, damage as a result of repair work or modifications done by the user, or cosmetic damage.
Pedals under warranty will be repaired for no charge. The customer is responsible for shipping to us, but we will pay for return shipping. If possible, we will repair pedals out of warranty but the customer is responsible for the cost of parts, labor ($30/hour bench fee), and return shipping.
Custom shop pedals carry the same warranty, sans an expiration date.
